This is a really nice house and I love the interior, I think you’re a brilliant interior designer Egon, love the idea that it’s near a lake and in the woods which makes it a peaceful setting. I saw it in this month’s Ideal Home magazine. I have relatives who live in Ireland too.

Thanks Joseph. So pleased that you like the cottage. It is incredibly peaceful and cosy and a great contrast to life in London! We really look forward to each visit.

      Hi Egon

You are very welcome, and if I need some Interior design advice, you’ll be the one I can turn to, your portfolio is brilliant

    Hi Egon,
I absolutely loved every aspect of your beautiful home and style. Your attention to colour, texture and design was so inspiring and I was delighted when you won house of the year. I’m planning on copying your kitchen unit colour and would loved to know where you purchased your dining chairs and orange light fittings. I would be most grateful if you could let me know.
Wishing you all that is good.

      Hi Avril,
Thanks for making contact. Glad you like our home. We are really pleased that so many people have liked what they saw. We set out to create something that worked for us but it is really nice to see that it touched a chord with other people too. In terms of your questions: The kitchen units are finished in Farrow & Ball “Downpipe”. The dining chairs are the Vitra Eames DSR. We were lucky to pick up ours at a John Lewis Clearance Sale. The orange lights are the Louis Poulsen PH 4/3 pendants. These are vintage Danish ones that I sourced from eBay. The design is still manufactured but I think only in white.

Best of luck with your project. Let me know if there’s any other way I can help. Best wishes, Egon
